Assistant TeacherLocation: Elburn, IL, 60119Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team at our childcare center in Elburn, IL. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities
  • Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Assist with meal and snack times
Skills:
  • Previous experience as an assistant childcare teacher
  • Passion for working with young children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of child development and early childhood education
