Work Environment

As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from your home, ensuring a private and comfortable environment conducive to therapy. You will utilize telehealth technology to conduct live video sessions, promoting a supportive connection while maintaining patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly evidence-based therapy sessions with individual adults via video conferencing, focusing on their unique mental health needs.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create a holistic treatment approach that supports our clients' overall wellbeing.
• Utilize and interpret automatically administered symptom self-assessments and progress measures to inform your therapeutic approach and make timely adjustments to treatment plans.
• Partake in regular case consultations to discuss client progress and seek guidance from fellow therapists, fostering a culture of teamwork and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve adult clients who may be dealing with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues. Lightheaded Counseling focuses on promoting self-discovery and personal empowerment in our clients, guiding them towards meaningful change and healing through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Proficiency in engaging with technology, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and the Google suite of applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interactions and documentation.
• A professional and polished demeanor, demonstrating the importance of trust and confidentiality in the therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of experience providing telehealth therapy, specifically for adolescents and young adults.
• Adaptability to participate in training regarding our specific evidence-based treatment frameworks, known as care pathways.
• Demonstrated warmth and empathic engagement skills with a diverse patient population.
• Ability to maintain a focused and confidential working environment at home, ensuring a reliable internet connection for seamless online therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
