  • Surveying aerial and underground copper and fiber routes
  • Capturing high-quality geo-tagged photos of poles, pedestals, manholes, DTAPs, TMLs, lockboxes, and related infrastructure
  • Verifying unit counts, addresses, and connection points at each location
  • Building accurate site documentation and summaries
  • Documenting findings using our software and Monday.com

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience in telecom, utilities, OSP, construction, surveying, GIS, or related field work (Not required, but preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying terrain and weather
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new software and apps
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driverโ€™s license
  • Willingness to travel full-time and work across state lines

Important Role Details

  • 100% travel
  • 1099 subcontractor position
  • Production-based pay: You own your schedule and your pay
  • All travel and living expenses are the engineer's responsibility
  • Net30 Contract with weekly pay

What We Provide

  • Clear standards and proven workflows
  • Ongoing project opportunities
  • Responsive support from experienced team leads and project managers

At LightPath, integrity matters. We can train skills, but we canโ€™t train character. If you take pride in honest work, accurate documentation, and representing a company well in the field, weโ€™d love to connect.
