Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand client history, symptoms, and needs, leading to the development of effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused strategies, to deliver individual therapy that promotes mental health and well-being.
• Establish specific therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitor their progress to ensure interventions are yielding positive outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy services, adapting to client needs with a focus on accessibility for those facing obstacles in attending in-person sessions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and client records that align with ethical standards and comply with regulations related to confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, participating in workshops and training to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and relationship issues. The therapist role at Lift Emotion Counseling Center emphasizes a client-centered approach, ensuring that therapy is tailored to the needs and preferences of each individual.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• A compassionate and non-judgmental attitude, with a genuine passion for helping others improve their mental health and quality of life.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while maintaining a manageable caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy via telehealth platforms is highly desirable.
• Previous work in community health settings or with marginalized populations would be an asset.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches, particularly those aligned with evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a lucrative salary, we provide:
