Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to analyze clients' mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to set personalized treatment goals and objectives that align with their specific challenges and aspirations.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a diverse array of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailored to individual client needs.
  • Monitor and document clients’ progress through their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Coordinate comprehensive care by liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and community resources, to enhance the treatment experience.
  • Provide educational resources and support to families, promoting their active engagement in the therapeutic process and ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMHC with Lifepoint Healthcare, you will be instrumental in supporting a diverse clientele that includes individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. Your role is critical in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and recovery from trauma, ensuring each client receives personalized care that fosters growth and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
  • A bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field; a master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to ethical practices and client confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Extensive experience in mental health counseling, particularly in clinical settings, with a background in both individual and group therapy preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a diverse client population and establish rapport quickly.
  • Specialized training in one or more therapeutic modalities is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
