Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ mental health and emotional states to establish baselines for therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, addressing each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family counseling, and group sessions.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on developments and outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in distress, employing effective techniques to ensure safety and stability.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, abiding by all legal and ethical healthcare standards.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive and integrated care.
• Stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices and developments in mental health to continually enhance service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing supervision and training sessions tailored to improve clinical skills and methodologies.
• Commit to ethical practice and uphold the standards as required by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Lifeline Harbor, your clientele will include individuals experiencing a diverse range of mental health challenges. You will work with clients ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other emotional and psychological issues. This varied population requires an adaptable approach to therapy, ensuring that you can meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a pertinent field.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist with qualifications in LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health laws and ethical guidelines governing practice.
• Commitment to continuous professional development through training, workshops, and supervisory sessions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within a community health or clinical setting.
• Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of various cultural contexts in therapy.
• Familiarity with using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms for remote counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise in the field. In addition to a favorable base salary, we provide:
