Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our outpatient office, which fosters a collaborative and supportive environment. Our clinic operates Monday through Saturday, and we provide flexible work schedules that accommodate both our staff and patients. Patients will benefit from comprehensive care, while you will have the opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, engaging patients to understand their medical histories, current health concerns, and treatment preferences.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate acupuncture, herbal remedies, cupping techniques, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Perform acupuncture procedures that involve precise needle placement and modification to facilitate healing, relieve pain, and enhance overall wellness.
• Advise patients on dietary and lifestyle changes that support their ongoing health objectives and integrate well with treatment plans.
• Document patient interactions and treatment strategies meticulously to maintain accurate health records, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care tailored to individual patient needs and to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a diverse array of patients with varying needs, ranging from those seeking relief from chronic pain to individuals interested in preventive care and overall wellness. You will develop rapport with patients through empathetic communication and a patient-centered approach, addressing not just physical ailments but promoting emotional and mental health, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice acupuncture and certification in the field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, including expertise in anatomical acupuncture points and meridian theories.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with patients, understand their needs, and educate them about treatment options.
• An empathetic and compassionate demeanor, with a focus on patient well-being and a commitment to quality care.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development, pursuing the latest research and techniques in acupuncture and integrative health.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a clinical environment with a focus on holistic approaches.
• Knowledge of or experience with complementary practices such as chiropractic care or physical therapy is a plus.
• Previous work that involved developing patient education content, especially related to health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between USD 65 to 85 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
