This full-time, remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while delivering valuable support to individuals and families. We are looking for a professional who is committed to facilitating personal growth and emotional well-being for clients who may have limited access to care.

About the Organization

Life Partners Counseling Center is a dynamic community health clinic located in Reading, Pennsylvania, known for its innovative approach to mental health care. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to improving the lives of those struggling with mental health issues by providing evidence-based therapeutic services. We pride ourselves on our holistic and client-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized support they need to thrive.

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that you are available to your clients. At Life Partners Counseling Center, we support our counselors with access to the necessary tools and resources to facilitate effective therapy and ensure rigorous client documentation. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive virtual team that promotes professional growth and mutual respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and create tailored therapeutic plans.
  • Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy to effectively address clients' diverse issues.
  • Engage in individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings and work towards resolution.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to create integrated treatment plans, combining insights from various disciplines to enhance client care.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies to ensure quality care and accountability.
    • Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on serving a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with a variety of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. Many of our clients might have had limited access to mental health services in the past, and you will play a crucial role in bridging that gap.

      Qualifications
      • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
      • An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania is essential.
      • A minimum of two years of counseling experience is necessary, preferably within a clinical setting.
      Preferred Experience

Experience and specialization in the following areas is highly desirable:

      • Family therapy
      • Couples therapy
      • Trauma-informed care
      • Substance misuse counseling
      Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually. Caseload assignments will be commensurate with your experience and availability. Our supportive environment includes assistance with billing and client documentation, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing care. Additionally, you will receive numerous client referrals to help build your practice.

      Career Growth Opportunities
