Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Life Bridge Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions that engage both couples together and individuals separately to address family dynamics effectively.
  • Addressing a variety of issues such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.
  • Collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care strategies that result in improved patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client sessions in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic methods.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will be critical in addressing complex issues such as blended family dynamics, separation and divorce adjustments, and conflict resolution. By focusing on holistic and family-oriented approaches, you will have a profound impact on your clients' lives and relationships.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Colorado.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic demeanor.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and delivering high-quality clinical care.
Preferred Experience

While newly licensed therapists are welcome to apply, we prefer candidates who have experience working with diverse client populations and addressing a wide range of behavioral health issues. An understanding of teletherapy tools and practices is beneficial to navigate our remote environment effectively.
