Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a competent, reliable, and experienced Security Officer to join our team.
You will be responsible for performing your responsibilities in alignment with our culture, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search and surveillance procedures.
This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
What you’ll do:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with the company protocols and clients’ requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
• Patrol our client’s facilities and prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or other infractions before they occur.
• Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people, assets, and premises.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Maintain personal knowledge of industry standards, requirements, and technology trends in safety and security.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as a Security Officer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Class D license.
• 2 years of security experience preferred.
• Driver’s License.
• Experience Law Enforcement/Military Police or Dept. of Corrections background preferred.
• Bilingual, a plus(English-Spanish).
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Possess intermediate computer and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Clean driving record.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening procedures, encompassing drug screening and background checks.
