Job description

Leveraging Equal Access Program (LEAP)is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides housing and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These disabilities include Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injury, autism, and other cognitive and physical impairments. Our team is creative, dynamic, and committed to making a positive impact in the developmentally disabled community.

As a Program Manager with LEAP, you'll be one of those extraordinary people. We are looking for a passionate team player who can effectively support the program's goals and manage its day-to-day operations in our small but growing North Bay branch. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of an integrated services program. Beyond the desired qualifications, you must have the drive to make a social impact while bringing your creative ideas and passion for success - we'll train you on the rest.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daily operations of LEAP'slocal
    RegionalCentercatchment area
    andHome and Provider
    services.
  • Provide supervision andtrainingto Program Coordinators and Administrative staff in the local Regional Center catchment area.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the local branch and represent the region within LEAP's broader leadership team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Social Work Supervisor and team to meet metrics, monitor Home Providers, compose corrective action plans, and provide training for Home Providers who need extra support
  • Create annual QA checks for homes and Home Providers that include both safety and HCBS regulations
  • Lead the team to be audit-ready at all times and create corrective action plans based on audit results.
    Participate in and support the invoicing of the Regional Center and the payment to home providers.
  • Provide coordination and logistical support for events and meetings with thelocal regional centerand within the office.
  • Generate monthly reports, with team support, for the Executive Director and Program Director.
  • Lead monthly staff meetings.
  • Lead
    the recruitment and certification of family homes.
  • Create outreach plans for new home providers, including targeted outreach
    Providetraining to staff and home providers.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and cultural sensitivity.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong supervision skills
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Zoom, or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with invoicing, budgeting, or financial tracking preferred.
  • Familiarity with regional center systems, compliance documentation, or nonprofit operations is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE

  • Occasionaltravel between sites, community events, and meetings.
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with some flexibilityrequiredfor evening or weekend events.
  • A hybrid or in-office schedule may be available depending on organizational needs.
  • Must be comfortable working in both office and community settings.
  • Occasional lifting or physicalassistancemay berequiredduring events or site visits.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally.
  • Candidates must live in Sonoma, Solano, or Napa counties.

EDUCATION

  • Abachelor's degree in public administrationor a related field, such as Organizational Leadership.

EXPERIENCE

  • Two years of experience as a Program Manager or four years of full-time experience as a Program Coordinator, or equivalent.
