We are looking for a highly motivated and technically curious Sales Engineer to partner with our sales team throughout the customer journey. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers, helping them understand how our platform can address their business and technical requirements.
You will work closely with Account Executives to lead discovery sessions, deliver tailored product demonstrations, develop technical solutions, and respond to complex customer requirements. The ideal candidate can translate technical concepts into clear business value and is comfortable working with both technical and executive stakeholders.

What You'll Do
- Partner with Account Executives to understand customer business objectives, technical requirements, and buying criteria.
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers and identify opportunities to align product capabilities with customer needs.
- Deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations tailored to different audiences and use cases.
- Develop technical presentations, solution architectures, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and other sales materials.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and detailed technical requirements.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other internal teams to address customer requirements and feedback.
- Support proof-of-concept and evaluation processes, including defining success criteria and demonstrating relevant product capabilities.
- Identify potential technical risks, integration considerations, and implementation requirements early in the sales cycle.
- Participate in competitive evaluations and help develop strategies to differentiate our solution.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and become a trusted technical resource throughout the buying process.
- Contribute to the development of sales engineering processes, demo environments, technical content, and enablement materials.
- Stay current on product capabilities, industry trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Experience supporting complex B2B or enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage audiences ranging from technical practitioners to executive decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Comfort working with APIs, integrations, data flows, and common enterprise technology concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, or technical due diligence is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and develop deep expertise in our product.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling SaaS or other cloud-based technology.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, SSO, SCIM, data integrations, and security concepts.
- Experience with CRM, ATS, HR technology, or other enterprise business applications.
- Experience leading technical discovery and solution design sessions.
- Experience with proof-of-concept development or technical evaluations.
- Familiarity with competitive sales processes and value-based selling methodologies.

Within your first six months, you will have developed strong expertise in our platform, established effective partnerships with the sales team, and independently led technical discovery and demonstrations. You will become a trusted resource for customers and internal stakeholders and contribute directly to advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
