Job description

The General Manager (GM) is the senior operational leader responsible for the overall performance, profitability, growth, and strategic direction of the business. The GM oversees all aspects of the business, including operations, preconstruction, estimating, project management, field operations, safety, quality, business development, finance, and talent management.

The GM is accountable for delivering exceptional project outcomes while achieving revenue, profitability, safety, and client satisfaction goals. This role requires an experienced construction executive capable of leading complex commercial projects ranging from $10 million to over $500 million while managing multiple business units, project teams, and executive leaders.

The General Manager establishes a culture of accountability, operational excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

Education

  • Experience managing multiple project teams and business units.
  • Full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience leading commercial projects exceeding $50 million.
  • Strong background in estimating, operations, project management, and business development.
