For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.
Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative LBS1 teacher to join our team in Forest Park, IL on a full-time year round basis. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.
Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (slightly flexible depending on candidates needs).
