Job Title: Cognitive Skills Trainer 

Location: Cresskill, NJ

Job Type: Part-Time

Compensation: Starting at $25.00/hour with advancement opportunities

Schedule Requirements: Flexible part-time hours available Monday through Saturday. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 2–3 consistent shifts per week.

Position Summary

LearningRx Cresskill is hiring part-time Cognitive Skills Trainers to deliver one-on-one cognitive training sessions using our proven, research-based programs. Trainers help students strengthen core brain skills such as memory, attention, and processing speed through fun, structured exercises.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education, personal growth, and making a meaningful impact. Paid certification training is provided before starting sessions.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one brain training sessions following the LearningRx curriculum

Motivate, support, and celebrate student progress

Maintain accurate training records and session documentation

Create a positive, focused, and goal-driven environment

Communicate regularly with center staff and supervisors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or currently a junior or senior in college with 90+ credits toward a bachelor’s degree
• Strong reading and spelling skills
• Ability to learn and implement structured programs quickly
• Positive, coach-like attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Highly trainable and receptive to feedback
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Experience working with children, teens, or adults in educational or coaching settings (preferred)
