About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Leander Veterinary Clinic as a Relief Veterinarian! This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care to our beloved patients while enjoying a flexible schedule in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality medical care and treatment.
  • Perform routine examinations, vaccinations, and preventative care.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in pets.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and care options.
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current with veterinary practices.
  • Ensure a compassionate and welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
Requirements:
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active veterinary license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for animal care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to high standards of veterinary care and client service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying hours and caseloads.
