About Le Supreme
Le Supreme is a vibrant French brasserie located inside the iconic Book Tower in downtown Detroit. Inspired by the grand cafés of Paris, Le Supreme delivers elevated French cuisine, classic hospitality, and an energetic dining atmosphere. We are seeking a passionate hospitality leader to help lead our front-of-house team while upholding our standards of service, culture, and operational excellence.
Position Summary
The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining room, bar, host stand, and front-of-house team. This individual leads by example, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, developing and coaching team members, maintaining service standards, and supporting the overall success of restaurant operations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about hospitality, team development, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, mentor, and inspire front-of-house employees through active floor leadership.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train front-of-house team members.
- Conduct ongoing coaching, performance conversations, and development planning.
- Promote collaboration and communication between front-of-house and culinary teams.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and reinforce service standards and daily priorities.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional hospitality by actively engaging with guests throughout service.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and personalized service.
- Build relationships with repeat guests and cultivate guest loyalty.
- Maintain Method Co.'s standards for hospitality, professionalism, and presentation.
Restaurant Operations
- Oversee daily dining room operations, including service execution, reservations, seating flow, and guest recovery.
- Manage opening, closing, and shift management responsibilities.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all guest-facing spaces.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards during every shift.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication and service.
Scheduling & Staffing
- Create and manage front-of-house schedules based on business needs.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout service.
- Support coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily communication logs and shift notes.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of front-of-house operating supplies.
- Support new initiatives that enhance the guest experience and operational excellence.
- Assist with implementing company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with reservation and POS systems preferred (Toast and TripleSeat experience is a plus).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work on-site full-time.

Working
Conditions/Environment:● The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
