As we continue to scale,ย we'reย looking for a highly organized, analytical Production Planner who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges.ย ย
What You'll Do:
Own the production schedule across multiple manufacturing work centers, balancing customer priorities, material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources.ย ย
Translate customer demand, sales forecasts, engineering release schedules, and new program launches into executable production plans.ย ย
Continuously evaluate production capacity, staffing levels, machineย utilization, and bottlenecks toย optimizeย factory throughput.ย ย
Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality to ensure customer commitmentsย remainย achievable.ย ย
Prioritize work orders based on customer demand, due dates, manufacturing constraints, and changing business priorities.ย ย
Develop short-, medium-, and long-range production plans while adjusting schedules in real time as priorities shift.ย ย
Monitor work-in-process (WIP) throughout the factory and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts that couldย impactย delivery.ย ย
Coordinate production sequencing across composite layup, curing, machining, additive manufacturing, inspection, finishing, and assembly operations.ย ย
Analyze demand trends, backlog, forecasted orders, and pipeline opportunities to ensure the factory is appropriately staffed and prepared for future workload.ย ย
Drive production planning meetings and communicate schedule updates, risks, and recovery plans to cross-functional stakeholders.ย ย
Identifyย opportunities to improve planning processes, scheduling accuracy, inventory flow, and manufacturing efficiency.ย ย
Utilize ERP/MRP, MES, and production planning tools toย maintainย accurateย schedules, production status, and reporting.ย ย
Develop production metrics and dashboards that provide visibility into schedule adherence, capacityย utilization, on-time delivery, and factory performance.ย
What We're Looking for:
3+ years of production planning, manufacturing planning, master scheduling, or operations planning experience.ย ย
Experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment.ย ย
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, scheduling, and material planning.ย ย
Comfortable balancing multiple competing priorities while making data-driven decisions.ย ย
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.ย ย
Highly organized with exceptional communication skills across technical and operational teams.ย ย
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.ย ย
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.ย
$90,000 - $145,000 a year
Final compensation is based on your experience, skills, and what you bring to the table.ย
