OverviewInterested in working at the District Attorney's Office, helping support victims of crime? If so, consider joining our team in the Victim Witness Division. The Administrative Specialist in the Victim Witness Unit provides crucial services to ensure that victims are notified of court events.
In addition to great benefits, including paid holidays, sick and vacation leave, this job has a standard work week (8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday). This position does not require any on-call responsibilities. Telecommuting may be available once a week after a successful probationary period.

Responsibilities What you'll be doing:
- Entering and updating data in various databases.
- Creating and sending letters about sentences and doing follow-up calls.
- Sending victim impact statements and protection orders to victims.
- Generating and sending critical-event notification letters to crime victims.

What we're looking for:
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Routine software and business applications, including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and databases.
- Effectively respond to conflict situations.
- Provide empathetic support to victims and witnesses.
- Perform duties independently without close supervision.
Qualifications All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required.
