- Analyze historical data and market trends to develop accurate pricing models and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals within established deadlines while ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and update estimating databases and documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges or risks.
- Support post-bid activities including bid reviews, value engineering, and project handover to the operations team.

The Underground Utilities Estimator utilizes strong analytical and mathematical skills daily to quantify project requirements and develop accurate cost projections. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify project details and negotiate pricing. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools enables efficient data management, cost analysis, and report generation.
