Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at Land Rover West Houston in Houston, TX. The Salesperson is responsible for greeting customers, identifying their needs, and guiding them through the vehicle selection process. Daily activities include presenting vehicle features and benefits, conducting test drives, preparing price quotes, and explaining financing and leasing options in coordination with the finance team. The role involves managing leads, following up with prospective and existing customers, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and meeting individual and team sales goals. The Salesperson also helps ensure the showroom and vehicle inventory are clean, well presented, and aligned with brand standards, while providing a professional, high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in customer service, relationship building, and active listening to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to present product information clearly, handle objections, and close sales ethically and effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex pricing, financing, and vehicle features in an accessible way.
• Organization and time-management abilities to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records in CRM or similar systems.
• Comfort with basic digital tools and software, including email, online inventory systems, and dealership management platforms.
• Prior automotive sales or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn about Land Rover products and the automotive industry is essential.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, and to comply with all dealership and brand policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional training in sales or business is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles.
