Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) at Lamar Estates

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to join our team at Lamar Estates, a small-town Skilled Nursing Facility in Lamar, CO. As a Director of Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for leading our rehabilitation program, providing exceptional care to our residents, and working closely with our staff to ensure the highest level of quality and satisfaction.

About the Role:

As a Director of Rehabilitation at Lamar Estates, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of our rehabilitation program. This includes:

  • Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing the daily operations of the rehabilitation program, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting

    • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

    • Providing clinical direction and guidance to rehabilitation staff, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy

    • Coordinating with healthcare providers, including physicians and hospitals, to ensure seamless transitions for our residents

    • Participating in the development of resident care plans and ensuring their implementation

    • Conducting quality assessments and improving processes to ensure optimal outcomes for our residents

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 Years as a practicing therapist
