Work Environment

This is a full-time position, offering a flexible work schedule that allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while working remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories and determine suitable treatment approaches.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and encourage overall healing.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integrated care, enhancing therapeutic outcomes for patients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating an ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to facilitate a supportive recovery environment.
• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards is essential for ethical practice.
• Participate in monthly case consultations, regular team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic skills and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting a diverse population affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and related psychological challenges. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients navigate their healing journeys, providing them with specialized care tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general office software.
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value candidates who demonstrate a thorough understanding of trauma-focused therapies and interventions. An established ability to effectively engage with clients in a remote setting will be viewed as beneficial. Experience in delivering trauma-specific therapeutic techniques will set you apart as a candidate.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
