We are seeking professional, highly reliable, and assertive Event & Venue Security Personnel (Bouncers) for on-demand shifts at venues, night establishments, and special events across Northern New Jersey.

This is a per-diem/on-demand position—shifts are scheduled based on venue event calendars. There are no guaranteed weekly hours. We are looking for individuals with a strong physical presence, exceptional de-escalation skills, and a proven background in venue, hotel, or crowd security.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, order, and access control at venue entry points and designated zones.
• Conduct ID checks, guest screening, and crowd monitoring during high-volume events.
• Provide strong physical command presence and defuse potentially disruptive situations quickly and professionally.
• Respond immediately to security incidents or physical conflicts in compliance with venue safety protocols.
• Move flexibly between venue assignment areas as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in nightclub/venue bouncing, concert security, sports event security, or hotel security is strongly preferred.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel independently to shift locations across Paterson, Newark, and Elizabeth.
• Physical Capability & Stamina:
• • Ability to stand and patrol continuously for long durations (up to 8+ hours).
  • Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver objects/equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong physical presence capable of effective crowd management and control.
• Availability: Flexible, open availability—primarily during peak venue hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Mindset: Professional demeanor, punctual, clear communicator, and able to strictly follow venue procedures.
