About the Role:
We are urgently hiring a Manual Lathe Operator to join our 1st shift production team. This is a critical position and we are looking for someone who can operate manual lathes and mills independently, read blueprints, and produce high-quality precision parts.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual vertical & horizontal turret lathes
- Support complementary equipment such as keyseaters, mills, presses, and saws
- Assist with CNC lathe, mill, and plasma cutting operations
- Use digital and dial readouts
- Read and interpret blueprints and production orders
- Measure, mark, cut, and finish parts to spec
- Verify tight tolerances using micrometers, calipers, gauges
- Perform deburring, cleanup, and final inspections
- Troubleshoot basic issues with manual machines
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist production team as needed to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manual machining experience
- Strong experience machining steels: A36, 1018, 1045, 4140, 304, 316
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to hold tight tolerances
- Comfortable using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges
- Ability to work independently and meet production standards
- Forklift experience preferred
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and heavy machinery
- Standing, lifting, and repetitive movement required
- Team-oriented, safety-focused environment
Mon-Fri: 7am-3:30pm
