Job Summary:
Job Summary:
Direct and coordinate activities of the Ontario, Oregon facility.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Business operations. Coordinate with farmers, staff, and prepare necessary equipment
  • and products.
  • Maintain customer relations and communication with farmers
  • Act quickly to resolve problems when needed.
  • Lead people and execution of daily plans.
  • Coordinate the preparation of jobs (equipment, fuel, staffing, etc.)
  • Responsible for employee morale and training.
  • Locate and correct inefficiencies in day-to-day tasks.
  • Inventory reconciliation
  • Work with corporate safety staff, and oversee safety program at local facility.
  • Forecast product needs, and place timely orders.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Have fertilizer, agronomy and or crop protection experience.
  • Have a passion for agriculture and are highly interested in treating our customer's crop as if they
  • are your own; high integrity recommending only the right products
  • Ability to work independently and develop new relationships across the territory.
  • Perform any other duties as required
  • Responsible for environmental, safety, security and health to one or more employees.
  • Strategic planning skills with the ability to problem solve.
  • Experience managing and training people.
  • Time-management skills & multitasking to handle the workload of simultaneous projects.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Must have a current driver's license.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
