IMPORTANT: Mazak lathe experience is REQUIRED for this position.

LV CNC is hiring CNC Machinists to join our team. We are looking for dependable, quality-focused machinists with hands-on Mazak CNC lathe experience.

What You'll Do

• Operate Mazak CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to customer and engineering requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job travelers, and work instructions
• Verify material identification and maintain product traceability throughout production
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
• Identify and report nonconforming product, process deviations, equipment concerns, and safety issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work in accordance with LV CNC's Quality Management System, controlled procedures, and applicable ISO 9001/API Q1 requirements
• Independently set up CNC lathes, including tooling, workholding, fixtures, and offsets
• Create, edit, or optimize CNC programs as required
• Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds for the material and application
• Perform first-article and advanced in-process inspections
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues
• Assist with training and supporting less-experienced machinists

What We're Looking For

• Mazak CNC lathe experience – REQUIRED
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of CNC machining and precision measurement
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and documentation
• Ability to follow controlled procedures and work instructions
• Dependability and ability to work effectively with limited supervision
• Effective communication skills in English
