Full Charge Bookkeeper (MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MILES OF 48116)
LT Ultra Precision Optics, LLC is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper for an immediate opening at our Brighton, Michigan office.
We are looking for someone who can independently take responsibility for the day to day accounting functions of a small, established company and keep our books accurate, organized, and current.
Responsibilities include:
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Customer invoicing and vendor payments
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• General ledger maintenance
• Cash flow tracking
• Payroll coordination and related reporting
• Sales tax and routine accounting filings
• Month end reconciliations and financial reporting
• Working directly with our outside CPA and tax professionals
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assisting with general office responsibilities when needed
Qualifications:
• Several years of hands on full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks experience, preferably QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and month end closing
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Dependable and able to take ownership of the accounting function
• Small business, manufacturing, or distribution experience is a plus
This is an in office position in Brighton, Michigan.
We need someone who can step into the position, learn our existing systems, and independently manage the accounting responsibilities of the company.
Compensation is based on experience.
