LiveHappy, Inc is hiring experienced Cannabis Trimmers to support our post-harvest production team. This role focuses primarily on trimming and manicuring cannabis flower after harvest, with occasional support for other cultivation or production tasks as business needs require.

This is an hourly position with a base rate of $18.00 per hour, plus eligibility for a dailyproductivity bonus based on trimming performance. Productive trimmers may earn meaningful additional bonus pay, with top performers able to reach an average earnings equivalent of up to approximately $27.00 per hour when maximum productivity targets are met.

What You’ll Do

Cannabis Trimmers are responsible for carefully trimming and manicuring flower to meet company quality, compliance, and production standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistency, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform post-harvest trimming and manicuring of cannabis flower to support product quality and consistency.
2. Use hand trimmers, scissors, and other tools to remove excess leaves, stems, and unwanted plant material.
3. Maintain consistent trimming techniques in accordance with company quality standards.
4. Inspect flower and plant material for pests, mold, contamination, or other abnormalities and promptly report concerns to a supervisor.
5. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary trimming area to help prevent contamination and support workplace safety.
6. Follow standard operating procedures, company policies, safety requirements, and all applicable cannabis regulations.
7. Work collaboratively with team members, Leads, and Supervisors to meet daily and weekly production goals.
8. Assist with other cultivation or production tasks as needed, including harvesting, transplanting, plant maintenance, cleaning, or other assigned duties.
9. Participate in training and coaching to improve trimming consistency, production efficiency, and product quality.

Bonus Opportunity

LiveHappy offers a weekly productivity bonus program designed to reward productive, consistent trimmers.

Employees remain hourly, with a base wage of $18.00 per hour. In addition, eligible trimmers may earn a flat weekly productivity bonus based on average pounds trimmed per productive hour during the applicable workweek.

The program is designed so that experienced, high-performing trimmers have the opportunity to earn significant additional pay. Trimmers who consistently meet higher productivity tiers may increase their average weekly earnings substantially, with top-tier productivity equivalent to approximately $27.00 per hour.

Bonus eligibility is based on both productivity and quality. Product that fails quality standards, requires rework, or does not meet company expectations may be excluded from bonus calculations.

Qualifications

1. Previous cannabis trimming, flower manicuring, or comparable plant-processing experience required. Don't have experience? Apply to be a Bucker and get on-the-job training to transfer into Trimming.
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
3. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and care.
4. Basic understanding of cannabis flower quality, anatomy, and handling standards preferred.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
6. Reliable attendance and ability to meet production expectations.
7. Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, safety requirements, and compliance procedures.
8. Ability to communicate effectively and work respectfully with team members, Leads, and Supervisors.
9. Flexibility to assist with other cultivation or production duties as needed.
10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
11. Must be eligible to work in the cannabis industry and comply with all applicable company and regulatory requirements, including any required background check.

Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus eligibility for a daily productivity bonus, paid biweekly. Any estimated hourly equivalent shown is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed wage rate.
