Job description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Line Cook to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes and specifications.
**Qualifications:**
**Available late nights and weekends until 1:00am for at least 25 hours per week

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking, including chopping and peeling vegetables, and cutting meat.
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical endurance and the ability to stand for long periods.
