Job description

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's Office is hiring a permanent fulltime Registered Nurse to work in the Detention Center.

Under direction of the Detention Center Commander this position provides clinical services to the incarcerated population and health care provider support at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.

Position is open until filled and applications will be reviewed weekly.

The current schedule:

four (4), ten (10) hour shifts, either 7am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm

Work every 9th weekend and work 12 hour shift, 7am - 7pm. When working the weekend, then will work two (2), eight (8) hour shifts during the weekday, and the hours are typically 7am - 3pm.

The Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Office is the chief law enforcement agency in Lewis & Clark County, Montana. It is comprised of over eighty employees including sworn officers, detention officers and professional support staff. The Sheriff's Office provides general law enforcement, detention functions, rural fire support and search and rescue operations for the citizens of Lewis & Clark County in a service area of over two million acres. Additionally, this agency provides specialized regional services to the entire county and contract law enforcement to specific areas.
