DIESEL MECHANIC
Job Description: To perform diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of tractors and trailers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards at Leon Logistics LTD.Specific Functions of the Position:
  • Identify and analyze mechanical and electrical problems in tractors and trailers.
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialized software to detect faults.
  • Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspension, and steering.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Complete work reports and ensure necessary documentation for audits.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with current safety and environmental regulations.
  • Understand and apply industry regulations for heavy vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and maintenance recommendations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to promote satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Control inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability and proper use of resources.
  • Request replacement parts as necessary.
Pay:
$35 hours
Schedule:

The schedule will be from Tuesday to Saturday, with on-call availability on Mondays. 7:00 am to 3:30 p.m.
