Overview
LCP is seeking an independent, detail-driven Transportation Specialist to manage Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) scheduling. In this role, you'll assign, coordinate, and confirm trips using our vendor network—balancing efficiency, cost, and member satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm all trips within 24 hours; ensure zero missed rides in your territory
  • Optimize routing using mapping tools and local knowledge
  • Notify members of uncovered trips at least 2 business days in advance
  • Troubleshoot and adapt to real-time scheduling changes
  • Submit regular status updates to leadership
  • Collaborate with team members and follow company policies

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work independently and manage time under pressure
  • Skilled in multitasking and organization
  • Geographic awareness for efficient routing
  • Clear, professional communication skills
