Due to our continued growth, we are looking for highly motivated Associates to join our team at our TLC White Plains, NY location. We have a paid training program and will train motivated and committed individuals who have a passion for patient care and customer service. In this position, you will play a key role assisting the ophthalmologist in all aspects of patient care. Job Responsibilities
Some responsibilities associated with this role include:

• Delivering quality patient care, excellent communication and customer service
• Assisting ophthalmologist in surgery suite with LASIK procedure
• Applying drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes
• Educating patients by providing information regarding treatment, use of drops and drugs
• Ensuring confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records
• Operating various ophthalmology diagnostic equipment
• Verifying schedule times with patients
• Preparing charts
• Handling pre-admission and consent forms
• Counseling patients on their insurance and payment options
• Receiving and securing payments from patients

Job Requirements
Initial qualifications for this role include:

• Retail/sales experience is preferred, but not required
• Vision experience is preferred, but not required
• Demonstrates initiative, drive and follow-through
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as needed and work well under pressure
• Quick learners who are able to grow and develop more skills with us - WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
