Responsibilities/Duties:
Implement educational activities by providing and maintaining an atmosphere in the classroom that promotes school readiness as well as developmentally appropriate practices for 3 and 4-year old children. Assist the Head Start Teacher in planning and carrying out educational activities to meet the National Head Start Program Performance Standards and local plan.
NOTE: Anticipated start date for this position is for the August 2026-2027 school year.

FULL TIME, 37.5 hrs/wk- Working a school schedule (10 months) August-June annually, with an established summer break between school years.
Rate of Pay Based on Education:
AA Degree in ECE $18.44/hr
CDA $16.82/hr
HS Diploma/GED $16.27/hr
For those who possess Bilingual Abilities (Eng/Spanish) 5% additional pay
