What Can You Expect Working in The Administrative Assistant Position
The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the office by providing exceptional service, dependable administrative support, and a welcoming presence for employees and visitors. This role ensures smooth communication, organized workspaces, and reliable coordination across departments while contributing to a positive and professional office environment.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years of administrative or office experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to answer customer calls via a multi-line phone system.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general comfort with new software systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Professional, positive demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Valid Driver's License.

Salary Description
$19.00 to $22.00 per hour
The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the office by providing exceptional service, dependable administrative support, and a welcoming presence for employees and visitors. This role ensures smooth communication, organized workspaces, and reliable coordination across departments while contributing to a positive and professional office environment.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the director of first impressions for LANGE; greets employees, guests, and vendors with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Manages visitor check-ins, badges, and incoming calls to ensure a positive and secure experience.
- Operates the multiline phone system and route calls to the appropriate team members.
- Processes interoffice mail, outgoing mail, and local deliveries, ensuring timely distribution.
- Prepares reports, letters, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
- Monitors and maintain office supplies, equipment, and shared spaces to keep the environment clean, organized, and efficient.
- Drafts and distributes internal communications, announcements, and updates as requested.
- Supports onboarding by preparing workspaces, assembling welcome materials, and coordinating employee needs.
- Completes administrative projects requested by departments or leadership team members.
- Identifies and supports process improvements that enhance office operations and the employee experience.
- Prepares meeting agendas and coordinates arrangements, including catering for luncheons and company events.
- Provides lunch coverage and backup support for administrative staff at other LANGE locations.
