We offer individual, family, relationship, and group therapy to adults and children with a wide variety of mental health challenges.


Job Description: Kujichagulia Wellness Center, LLC seeks to hire talented and well-trained Mental Health Counselors/Psychotherapists to join a growing, creative, supportive, and team-oriented group practice. We are specifically looking for clinicians who specialize in working with children and families to expand our care offerings. Clinicians are responsible for maintaining a steady caseload with a focus on high-quality clinical practice. Clinicians must be familiar with using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for documentation and providing Teletherapy.


What we seek: Kujichagulia Wellness Center is currently hiring for both licensed and unlicensed clinicians to join our diverse and dynamic team.


Responsibilities: Clinical duties include:

  • Conducting individual, Family, and Relationship Psychotherapy (Special consideration to those who have knowledge and experience working with LGBTQ, Polyamorous, and BIPOC populations).
  • Developing therapeutic treatment plans, maintaining appropriate records
  • Case management and collateral communication
  • Attending monthly staff meetings and weekly clinical consultation / supervision meetings


We seek ONLY the best and most dedicated professionals:

  • Demonstrable psychotherapy skill and training
  • Most highly devoted and competent with clients in terms of compassion, communication, loyalty, consistency and effectiveness
  • Must be highly-trained, and independently licensed in Massachusetts or license eligible.
  • Demonstrable skills with treating a range of psychological disorders
  • Either current or projected desire to develop a specialization regarding a therapeutic approach (EMDR, CCPT, CBT, ACT, etc), diagnosis (Depression, Personality Disorders, Anxiety, Substance Abuse), or population (Family, Couples, Children, Perinatal, etc)
  • Must be willing to build and maintain a practice of clients with a focus on excellent care
  • Must have a demonstrated commitment for diversity and experience treating BIPOC clients
  • Must have experience working with issues concerning Discrimination, LGBTQ issues, Life Transitions, and Cultural Competency/Humility


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, commitment to providing quality services, knowledge of the unique needs of the BIPOC community and have the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.


Qualified applicants must have:

  • A Master’s or Doctorate Degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., LICSW, or LMHC) in social work, counseling, or psychology;
  • An active, unrestricted license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (LMHC, LICSW, etc.)
  • OR currently working toward independent licensure (LMHC track, LCSW).
  • Must reside in Massachusetts


Positions Available:

Fee-for-Service Positions:

  • Flexible schedule must work one evening or weekend
  • Clinicians must maintain a minimum caseload of 18 clients
  • Clinicians must stay consistent with all collateral contacts and case management responsibility.
  • Attend meetings which include individual and group clinical consultations in addition to monthly team meeting


Compensation and Benefits:

The therapist will be an employee, not an independent contractor, and will be compensated on a fee-for-service basis which includes meetings in addition to psychotherapy sessions.

Kujichagulia Wellness Center Benefit Structure:


Salary Structure:

  • Independently Licensed Clinicians: $60 per hour
  • Un-licensed Clinicians (including LCSW): $50 per hour

Practice will handle credentialing, referrals, first appointment scheduling, office maintenance and costs, as well as all billing and accounting duties.
