We are looking for a

Hands-On Maintenance Lead Technician - Container Crane

This is a working-lead position.

The successful candidate is expected to spend the majority of their time performing
hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs while providing
day-to-day leadership to a team of technicians.

WHAT YOU DO

• Provides troubleshooting on lift equipment (electric, mechanic)
• Work with PLC (Siemens) for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Work from prints and plans to repair, maintain and install equipment.
• Maintain/replace electrical/mechanical parts. Work with hydraulic systems.
• Plan preventive maintenance. Schedule technicians. Communicate with customers
• Other duties and assignments as required

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 3+ years troubleshooting electrical systems
• Experienced with maintaining and repairing mechanical components (Bearings, Wheels)
• Experience with PLC-based equipment
• Experience with troubleshooting network-based systems (Fiber Optics, Profibus, Canbus)
• Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns
• Hydraulic troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Experience leading technicians in a field environment
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to work in shifts, on call and overtime as needed.

Other Required Qualifications:

• Requires frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, grasping, and reaching.
• Ability to perform a volume of mechanical detail work with speed and accuracy; manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., carry 50 lbs., push 100 lbs., pull 75 lbs.
• Must be able to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination and the utilization of color vision.
• Exposure to noise; must wear eye protection and safety shoes.
• Ability to work in heights (up to 100ft)
• Most of the work is outside
