Job description

The client is seeking a Kronos Senior Business Analyst Lead to support the upgrade from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM). This role will focus on consolidating multiple WFC instances into a single UKG Pro WFM environment, managing complex integrations, and ensuring seamless data migration with PeopleSoft HRMS and other legacy systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Kronos/UKG Pro WFM implementations, stakeholder management, business requirements gathering, PeopleSoft integration, testing processes, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for the UKG Pro WFM upgrade.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and project leadership.

Requirement Analysis & Documentation:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Participate in solution design, configuration reviews, and business process improvements.

Testing & Validation:

  • Design, develop, and manage test scripts using designated testing tools.
  • Lead testing activities including system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Validate system configurations, pay rules, CBA rules, and payroll processing scenarios.

Kronos/UKG Pro WFM Expertise:

  • Provide expertise in implementing and configuring Kronos Workforce Central and UKG Pro Workforce Management solutions.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Kronos Workforce Timekeeper.
  • Knowledge of Workforce Central modules including Activities, Mobile, Analytics, and related functionality is preferred.

Data Migration & Integration:

  • Extract data from Kronos Workforce Central, perform data cleansing and transformation, and migrate data into UKG Pro WFM.
  • Work with system integrators and technical teams to ensure successful integrations using middleware tools such as Kronos Boomi.
  • Support integration with PeopleSoft HRMS and other enterprise legacy systems.

Project Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead a team of Kronos analysts supporting configuration, testing, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst Lead supporting Kronos or UKG Pro WFM implementations.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements, developing functional designs, and supporting full project lifecycle activities.
  • Hands-on experience with Kronos Workforce Central, UKG Pro WFM, and Workforce Timekeeper configuration.
  • Experience developing test plans, test scripts, and leading testing efforts for complex enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS and integration with workforce management platforms.
  • Experience with middleware/integration tools, preferably Kronos Boomi.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Kronos/UKG Pro WFM Program Manager.
