Job description

Job Title: People Care Analyst
Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Role
Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA
Industry: Technology Consulting / Digital Services
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
About the Role
Kopius is seeking a People Care Analyst to join our internal People team in a hybrid role based out of our Atlanta, GA office. This role focuses on driving employee experience, engagement, and retention for our U.S.-based team members, while also supporting the broader People Operations function on documentation, onboarding, and process execution.
You will own the end-to-end People Care experience for a portfolio of employees - from onboarding through career development, ongoing engagement, and offboarding - and partner directly with People Operations to keep systems, records, and processes running smoothly across the U.S. business.
The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and equally comfortable running a career development conversation or updating HRIS records. This is a role for someone who can balance the human side of People with the operational discipline needed to keep a growing organization running.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the People Care experience for a portfolio of U.S.-based team members - from onboarding through career development, engagement, and offboarding
  • Conduct First Day onboarding sessions and follow-up meetings to support the integration of new hires into Kopius and client teams
  • Hold regular 1:1 meetings with assigned team members to monitor engagement, track satisfaction, and provide personalized support
  • Partner with team members on career pathing conversations - helping them identify growth opportunities, development goals, and next steps within Kopius
  • Facilitate performance feedback conversations in collaboration with managers and the broader People team
  • Identify early signs of disengagement or attrition risk and co-design mitigation strategies with People leadership
  • Organize and lead initiatives as part of the Community and Connections program to foster belonging and strengthen internal culture
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, feedback, and escalations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all people-related conversations, initiatives, and follow-ups
  • Report engagement trends and retention risks to People Care leadership on a regular cadence
  • Partner with People Operations on end-to-end employee lifecycle processes - onboarding logistics, offboarding, employee changes, and documentation
  • Support HRIS data hygiene - ensuring employee records, org structure, and status changes are accurate and up to date
  • Assist with benefits questions, leave administration coordination, and general employee inquiries
  • Help maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for People processes
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across Talent & People, Payroll, Finance, and Delivery - keeping deadlines and follow-ups on track
  • Support compliance-related documentation and reporting cycles as needed
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with People Operations on implementation
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders
  • Empathetic, approachable, and skilled at building relationships with team members at all levels
  • Highly organized and reliable in maintaining consistent 1:1 cadences and complete, accurate people-related documentation
  • Excellent listening and conversation skills, with the ability to detect early signs of disengagement and escalate concerns in a timely manner
  • Track record of driving strong retention outcomes and proactively identifying engagement risks
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable balancing employee-facing conversations with operational, documentation, and process work
  • Discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive employee information
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership over employee experience outcomes
Technical Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in People Care, HR Business Partner, Employee Experience, People Operations, or related roles
  • Direct experience supporting U.S.-based employees within a professional environment
  • Hands-on experience with employee engagement, retention initiatives, and career development conversations
  • Working knowledge of core People Operations processes - onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and lifecycle documentation
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (BambooHR, Workday, Rippling, ADP, or similar)
  • Experience with engagement and survey tools (Culture Amp, Lattice, 15Five, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of U.S. HR fundamentals - employee documentation, benefits administration basics, leave coordination
  • Comfort with collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Outlook, SharePoint, Asana, Jira, or Confluence)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Nice to have: Experience in IT services, technology consulting, or professional services industry
  • Nice to have: Experience supporting distributed / remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with LATAM-U.S. cross-cultural dynamics
  • Nice to have: Exposure to compliance frameworks (FMLA, ADA, EEOC reporting)
Things to keep in mind!
  • Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 / year. Individual pay within the posted range is determined by multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • Location: Hybrid role based out of our Atlanta, GA office. Candidates should be local to the Atlanta metro area with the ability to work onsite as required.
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship, transfer, or extension of work authorization now or in the future.
