Job description

Knife River Pit Loader Operator

Our team members are the key to our success, and we are committed to giving them the tools, training, and time to do their jobs productively and safely each day. Our goal is to build strong teams that, in turn, build strong communities. We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.

Job Summary:

  • Operate various sizes of Loaders.
  • Loading all kinds of trucks.
  • Maintaining Haul roads and berms.
  • Using scales and other tools to get loads correct.
  • Cleaning and greasing the loader every shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous Loader, and truck loading experience

Knowledge of modern loaders and technology

Ability to work flexible shift

  • Dependability and ability to work in a safe manner
  • Environmental adaptability
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working toward a common goal.
