Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Designer and immerse yourself in the exciting world of high-end interior design and remodeling! This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in layout design, lighting, and renovation projects while gaining hands-on experience in retail sales, customer service, and product merchandising. You will support our experienced designers by assisting with client consultations, creating detailed sketches using 2020 software, and learning the ins and outs of kitchen and interior design. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in design, construction, and sales within a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Assist senior designers with layout planning, space optimization, and lighting design using 2020 Design
  • Support customer interactions through inside sales and outside sales activities, including product demos and upselling high-end fixtures
  • Contribute to remodeling and renovation project planning by coordinating with clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Help prepare detailed design presentations, including material selections, color schemes, and lighting options
  • Participate in social media marketing initiatives by promoting new products and design solutions to clients
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail for project coordination and documentation
  • Interest in Kitchen Design or Construction
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently
