Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Kings View Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and couples therapy sessions to clients across various age groups, employing evidence-based practices tailored to meet diverse needs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Scheduling and managing client appointments, ensuring to uphold an organized calendar that maximizes availability for client needs and therapeutic continuity.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate care, enhancing the overall treatment experience for clients.
• Utilizing a billing service to streamline client claims and insurance processes, allowing you to focus on what matters most—providing quality therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population at Kings View Counseling Services includes individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds facing a range of clinical issues. Our therapists address various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and grief, particularly within the hospice center context where sensitive emotional support is paramount. We treat each client with empathy and respect, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work with an active LCSW license allowing for independent practice in Texas.
• Demonstrated professionalism, including strong therapeutic boundaries and cultural competency.
• Self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management to ensure a productive and fulfilling work schedule.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and growth within the field of social work.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, including two evenings each week, to accommodate client schedules.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with significant training and/or experience working with couples are highly valued and encouraged to apply. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and techniques would also be advantageous as we navigate virtual sessions in our remote work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
