Job description
Role Summary:
Responsible to provide guided historical tours of King Ranch
What to Expect in the Role:
- Learn the history and current operations of King Ranch.
- Required to be able to recite an oral history of King Ranch on historic tour.
- Conduct tours of King Ranch by providing accurate and interesting information to our guests.
- This position requires conducting a mock tour presentation that would be evaluated by supervisor, peers and archivist and meeting all tour guide standards/requirements.
- Possess excellent customer service skills and be courteous and welcoming to guests.
- Ability to operate a small passenger bus or large van in a safe manner.
- Be able to work flexible schedule including some weekends.
- Be able to represent King Ranch as an ambassador with pride in the position.
- Understand and comply with posted work rules, procedures, and polices of the VPS and King Ranch Inc.
What We Will Be Needing From You:
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
- CPR, 1st Aid, AED training (preferred)
- Possess good language skills (bilingual preferred but not required)
