Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role located in Annapolis, MD. The Retail Salesperson will greet customers, engage in conversation to understand their needs, and guide them through product options to support informed purchases. Responsibilities include maintaining in-depth product knowledge, presenting merchandise, processing sales transactions, and handling returns or exchanges. The role also involves keeping the sales floor organized, replenishing stock, entering new inventory, assisting with visual displays, and ensuring the store remains clean and inviting. The Retail Salesperson will provide consistent, high-quality customer service, address questions and concerns, and contribute to meeting sales goals while collaborating with the store team.

• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating positive, inclusive experiences for all shoppers.
• Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet individual and store sales goals.
• Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge skills, and be comfortable learning and communicating detailed information about merchandise.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain products and policies.
• Relevant qualifications include prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles, basic cash handling and POS system familiarity, reliability in arriving on time and completing shifts, and the ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
• Helpful additional qualifications include experience with visual merchandising, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and an interest in the local community and the Kim Hovell brand.
