Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for lessons and activities using our rich, easy-to-use curriculum provided for you with opportunities to add your own creative ideas as desired.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment to ensure responsive care is provided to each child
  • Desire to build positive relationships with children and families and be able to provide communication to parents through conversations, messaging and taking pictures to share the child's day and growth.
  • A passion for educating young minds in a preschool setting
  • Desire to work as part of a teaching team

Teacher minimum qualifications:
  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting
  • At least 18 years of age

Preferred qualifications:
  • a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or related field, OR
  • a CDA (Child Development Associate Certification); AND
  • 5-10 years teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting, OR
  • 2-3 years' experience in Montessori school setting

Our River Place location offers spacious classrooms with tons of natural light using natural tones to provide great space for learning AND for teaching. Our expansive playgrounds for every age offer lots of opportunities for outdoor play, and our roomy indoor playground provides space for large motor activities even when it rains.
