Job Summary

We are seeking an Expert ADAS, EV, & Diagnostic Technician to join our team in California. You will perform OEM-accurate calibrations, EV/ICE diagnostics, and suspension repairs in a controlled environment. This role requires managing a personal schedule, processing invoices, providing upfront retail pricing, and collaborating with a national support network. You will also travel to collision shops to assist with mechanical blueprinting and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

1. ADAS, EV, & Mechanical Operations

  • OEM Calibrations: Perform OEM-accurate static and dynamic ADAS calibrations in a controlled environment.
  • Diagnostics: Run pre- and post-scans on all vehicles to ensure comprehensive diagnostics and calibration alignment.
  • EV & ICE Service: Diagnose, service, and repair both Electric Vehicles (EV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles.
  • Mechanical & Suspension: Perform suspension replacements and light mechanical repairs required to prep vehicles for calibration.

2. Administration & Field Support

  • Scheduling & Estimating: Manage your daily job schedule and provide upfront pricing estimates for retail clients.
  • Invoicing: Utilize shop software to draft, process, and manage invoices and record-keeping.
  • Collision Blueprinting: Travel to collision locations to assist with mechanical blueprints and damage assessments.
  • National Collaboration: Collaborate with a national group of 10 AVTs for remote support and operational alignment.

Position Requirements & Certifications

1. Qualifications

  • Expertise: Fully certified technician in ADAS calibration, EV service, diagnostics, and suspension systems.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid, current driver’s license.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel on-site to collision locations and make occasional national visits to support training consistency.

2. Required Training & Professional Development

  • ASE Timeline: Must attain the ASE L4 (Advanced Electric Vehicle Technician) certification within 12 months of hire.
  • I-CAR Curriculum: Complete dedicated I-CAR training modules focused strictly on:
    • Electrical / Diagnostics
    • Mechanical Systems
    • ADAS Calibration
