Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote mental well-being.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique situation, for instance, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Establish actionable therapeutic goals with clients and monitor progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting approaches as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy sessions to ensure accessibility for clients facing mobility or transportation challenges, utilizing digital tools and platforms effectively.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training to remain updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, enabling you to effectively handle a caseload and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a clinical setting providing individual therapy is preferred, with a specific focus on clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression. Familiarity with telehealth practices and EHR systems will enhance your ability to deliver quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

Kettle Academy offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000–110,000, based on your caseload management and level of experience. Our comprehensive benefits include:
