Job Summary
Girls Volleyball Coach
Times: Must be available afternoons and some Saturdays.
Position Summary
The Girls Volleyball Coach will lead an elementary and/or middle school volleyball program focused on developing fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and a love for physical activity. The coach will provide age-appropriate instruction while maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all student-athletes.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan and lead age-appropriate volleyball practices.
Teach fundamental skills including serving, passing, setting, hitting, movement, and positioning.
Introduce basic offensive and defensive strategies appropriate for students' age and experience.
Develop students' coordination, communication, teamwork, and confidence.
Promote good sportsmanship, respect, discipline, and teamwork.
Communicate professionally with families, teachers, school administration, and athletic staff.
Maintain and properly use volleyball equipment and facilities.
Follow all school, district, league, and safety policies.
Attend scheduled games and practices.
Qualifications
Previous volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic volleyball skills, rules, and strategies.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive team environment.
Commitment to student safety and development.
CPR/First Aid certification required.
Background Check will be conducted.
