Kepler is seeking aย Director of Salesย โ€“ US Commercial Spaceย leader to drive revenue growth and market expansion across theย commercialย US space sector. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and strategy, owning the development andย commercial growthย of key Kepler services.ย 

You willย be responsible forย Keplerโ€™sย US commercial sales. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, particularly inย early growthย stageย market environments.ย 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scaleย Keplerโ€™s US commercial salesย across commercial and government sectorsย 

  • Own revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting, and sales executionย ย 

  • Executeย go-to-market strategy, positioning, andย commercial transactionsย for Kepler servicesย ย 

  • Provide market feedback toย Product and Engineering to shape product roadmap, features, and service offerings based on market demandย ย 

  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating user needs into product and business strategyย ย 

  • Build and manage key customer and partner relationships across the US space ecosystemย ย 

  • Lead proposal development, RFP responses, and bid/no-bid decisionsย ย 

  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunitiesย ย 

  • Represent Kepler at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements (โ‰ˆ40% travel)ย ย 

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years inย sales, or commercial leadership within space, aerospace, or related technology sectorsย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, science, or related field

  • Proven track record building and scaling commercial organizations and launching new products/servicesย ย 

  • Experience selling into both government and commercial space marketsย ย 

  • Strong understanding of space systems (e.g., small satellites, RF/optical communications)ย ย 

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teamsย ย 

  • Experienceย operatingย in fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage environmentsย ย 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business valueย ย 

Bonus Points:
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD)ย ย 

  • Experience bringing space or telecom products from concept to marketย ย 

  • Background in high-growth or startup environmentsย
